Chanced upon something very interesting and rather, path breaking -
Well it could be very early days and lot depends on execution and its feasibility.
But, the mind does wonder of the immense possibilities ahead.
Bravo guys ! (to the folks @ Innowatech – the company behind this ingenious idea)

Well..here it is
Our very own travel aggregator, ixigo
(Much like kayak, my favourite )
But, this is not the only aggregator around.
Here are some of the others:
meratrip, Rediff Fare Search, Yahoo Fare Chase
But, there is still a lot that can be done on the travel space.
The only contention with us is that we all keep doing the same thing

We see a lot of creativity in all web apps but one – the one that started everything – what internet was (or still is) to the uninitiated – emails.
My fav web mail is gmail. Its simple. Its useful and its fast
But isnt there more that we can do in this space. To speak of a few in my mind
- Why cant emails be tagged? (not labels but TAGs)
- Can i have some stickies for email where i can mention the axn plan for the mail so that i can act upon it later?
- Can emails initiate an action? maybe set reminders / fix appointments / talk to project management s/w like basecamp or central desktop
- Can emails be sent as sms to the recepient?
said simply,
Will emails re-invent themselves. time it does
Or else we will

Online enterprises in India have one thing common.
There comes one smart guy (invents / ‘gets inspired
‘). And we see every body doing the same thing… is it that everyone thought of it but one got there fast.. or somehow everyone found nirvana in the same business idea. Condolences to creativity !!
Best examples for this herd effect – travel sites, social networking.
As of today, all travel sites are the same (my fav being yatra – results + cleartrip – user experience)… so do you also open all these sites in different tabs and check which one has the best result (i do
and then finally book from that airline’s site
)
But dare the poor me make a prediction (the dreary business forecast)
- Next business model is to query these sites and provide the best result – one click and you have the answer… the ‘kayak’ story
- And then to provide a case wherein i can network with my fellow travellers.. so if i have option of knowing some corporate executive and one hot babe who would be on the same flight, no brownie points for guessing whom would i prefer to sit with and spend those couple of hours (but the ans would be different were it an investor / entrepreneur… sorry babes
) maybe then add on to have the option of sharing cabs to / from the airport
I have thought..some one would be implementing it..and soon we would be seeing it.
Thats all that thoughts are good for… to be posted on blogs
Cos all that matters is how you execute !!
